TM Soldering Solutions LLC was founded to solve a growing problem in the selective soldering industry: reliable machines and legacy systems were still running strong—but support, parts, and expertise were disappearing.

Based in Spokane Valley, Washington, TM Soldering Solutions is owned and operated by industry veterans Matt Knodel and Trevor Green, both former employees of ACE Production Technologies. With over 30 years of hands-on experience manufacturing and supporting ACE selective soldering equipment, Matt and Trevor built TM to ensure customers could keep their machines running—and keep production moving.

Built by the People Who Built the Machines

Before founding TM Soldering Solutions, Matt served as Procurement Manager at ACE, where he saw firsthand the challenges customers face when manufacturers discontinue support for equipment that is still fully capable of delivering years of value. Trevor managed the production floor and quality management at ACE, building the KISS selective soldering platform from the factory floor up.

TM initially launched as a parts and service company—specializing in replacement parts, repairs, and refurbishment of KISS Gen 1 and Gen 2 selective soldering machines.

TM continues to support all legacy ACE equipment, including:

  • Replacement parts and assemblies
  • Pot and pump assemblies
  • Nozzles
  • Partial and full machine refurbishments

Our goal is simple: provide what you need, when you need it.

We maintain strong inventory levels and move quickly to source parts when something isn’t on the shelf.

From Legacy Support to the Next Generation

Introducing the Phoenix Selective Soldering System

The result is Phoenix—TM Soldering Solutions’ new selective soldering system.

While Phoenix is new to the market, it reflects decades of real-world selective soldering expertise. Since introducing the Phoenix platform in early 2025, TM has seen strong early demand, with systems already operating in customer production environments and additional installations underway.

The Phoenix line is a new take on the ACE machines customers know and trust, featuring:

  • A refreshed industrial design
  • An improved user interface
  • Easier programming and maintenance
  • Enhancements for daily operation and long-term reliability

TM Soldering Solutions is proud to design and manufacture equipment in the USA, right here in Spokane Valley, WA. 

What began as a small parts operation has grown into a 10,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, supported by a reassembled team of former ACE engineers, builders, and technicians.

Collectively, our team has designed, built, installed, and supported more than 1,200 selective soldering machines. Supporting these systems isn’t new to us—it’s second nature.

Our long-term goal is to become the go-to selective soldering partner in the United States by offering:
