Phoenix Configurable Options
Top-Side IR Preheater
Topside infrared preheater with selectable zones to utilize energy transfer only in the areas that require it. Provides programmable PCB topside temperature via pyrometer, or timer-based preheating.
N2 Knife
Programmable de-bridging knife, which uses a directional flow of nitrogen within 360 degree rotation of the nozzle, to assist with defect free soldering of tight pitch of long lead connectors.
Auto nozzle tinner
Automatic dispenser of tinning flux for solder nozzles, to remove oxide accumulation for hands off automation.
Auto solder re-fill system
Integrated solder wire dispense station. Uses 5lb, 3mm (1/8”) diameter solid wire, Lead or Lead free. Wire is dispensed directly into the solder pot while low solder conditions are present.
Precision Micro Drop Dispenser
Precision flux dispenser ideal for no clean flux applications.
Dual nozzle solder Pot and Pumps
This solder pot and pump is designed to accommodate two independent solder nozzle sizes in a single program. This allows for accelerated processing when PCB’s have opportunity for precision and open sites to solder.
Solder pot exchange cart
The solder pot cart offers a hands-free method of exchanging solder pots in the machine without heavy lifting associated with replacing a solder pot. The cart also includes a built-in solder pot warming station, which drastically reduces the time required to get back to production after a pot exchange.
Phoenix-FP Flux & Preheat System (Coming Soon)
Selective fluxing and preheating system designed to pair with a new or existing Phoenix-IL or any SMEMA compatible soldering machine, to improve PCB throughput by up to 50%. The Phoenix-FP handles concurrent PCB fluxing and preheating, efficiently removing the pre-soldering workload from the downstream soldering equipment. Utilizing the same EmberX software as the Phoenix-IL, the Phoenix-FP delivers consistent process control and reliable performance.
